Properties:
Milky white powder, with special odor, nontoxic. Relative density 1.18-1.24; melting point 104-108°C; soluble in diethyl ether, benzene, carbon disulfide, chloroform, tetrachlorethylene, carbon tetrachloride and dichloromethane; slightly soluble in ethyl acetate and acetone; insoluble in gasoline, methanol, water and diluted alkali. It can be stored stably.
Uses:
It is super accelerator for natural rubber, synthetic rubber and latex. At the temperature over 100°C, the vulcanization is fast. At the temperature lower than 120°C, the plateau cure is medium, while at the temperature is over that, the plateau cure is low. The most appropriate temperature is 95-110°C. Since the product is highly soluble in organic solvent, it is generally used in cold vulcanization rubber cement. Latex with it can be used for one week without early vulcanization. When used in dry rubber, normally it can only be taken as auxiliary accelerator. It is good activating agent for thiazole accelerator. It can be used as antiager in rubber compounds, and can improve the ageing stability for vulcanized rubber. It neither discolors nor pollutes the environment, and is easily dispersed. Depends on the vulcanization requests on the tensile stress at a given elongation, transparency and other properties, the dosage is 0.5-2 portions.
Packing:
Polypropylene woven bag, Net wt. 25kg.
